It is a non-invasive procedure with a principle similar to a regular facial in a spa. This treatment can be highly customizable depending on the patient’s skin type, sensitivity level, or concerns and requires no downtime or recovery. Hydrafacial Benefits The HydraFacial is said to help improve- Overall skin texture, Tone, and Appearance. It deeply exfoliation the skin, thus cleaning the pores, removing debris, and allowing better penetration of facial serums. HydraFacial for Acne Currently, there are no clinical studies to confirm the importance or benefits of HydraFacial for acne. However, they are effective in treating both acne and acne scars. HydraFacial for blackheads Dead skin cells can also contribute to blackheads. Hence, the exfoliating and extracting process used in HydraFacial can benefit from getting rid of blackheads. However, more research is required. Use sunscreen SPF 30 or greater daily to cover against UV rays. Do not exfoliate your skin 2 days before treatment. Do not get any chemical peels or lasers 2 weeks prior to the treatment. Discontinue using any Tretinoin products at least 2 days before treatment. Discontinue using Hydroquinone 2-3 days before treatment. Wait for 2 weeks after any Botox or filler treatments. Tell your doctor if you develop a cold sore, acne, open lesions on the treated area, or experience any illness before treatment.  Post Treatment Instructions Avoid exfoliation of skin 48 hours post-treatment. Avoid heat sources or other workouts (hot showers, saunas, and cardio workouts) that produce sweat for 24 hours. You can wash your face a day after treatment with products recommended by your doctor. Follow the regular regimen post-treatment as recommended by your doctor. Avoid unprotected sun exposure 3 days post-treatment. Use sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher for 3-5 days post-treatment. Makeup can be applied the day after treatment. Precautions for HydraFacial  Usually, HydraFacial is free of complications.
